Create vivid color and light in your paintings by following a four stage process. On the first day Michele will lead you step-by-step through the four stages as we all create a painting with the same reference photo resulting in very individual paintings. On day two after this introductory instruction with illustrated process steps, you will work with your own reference photo with her continual guidance. Artist Biography

Michele has always been driven by the desire to create and express herself with art. She paints to capture nature’s beauty – from soft and subtle to bold and dynamic colors. And she teaches her painting process to help artists realize that with passion and drive they can create art filled with light and color.

Michele’s current portfolio includes mostly landscape oil paintings. Her preferred painting method is with a knife because of the immediacy and vibrancy of color it offers. She has found that knife oil painting works very well for applying many colors from subdued to bold, inviting the viewer to find and visually blend these colors to share in the stories her paintings tell.

An award winning artist, Michele’s paintings are included in numerous private art collections throughout the U.S. Her art education includes Rhode Island School of Design along with acclaimed artists Susan Sarback and Michael Chesley Johnson.
