Vintage Kodak Brownie cameras are currently available to be checked out in Collage, the Museum Store. These cameras belong to the Mobile Museum of Art, but are available for public use for a period of one week.

Please read the guidelines outlined below if you would like enter this competition.

Basic Guidelines

1. Members of the public may check out a Vintage Kodak Brownie Camera and ONE roll of film from the Mobile Museum of Art Museum Store.

2. Only one camera per person may be checked out.

3. The camera and exposed film are due back one week from the check out date. Please return them to the Museum Store. The museum will be responsible for the film development.

4. The person checking out the camera is required to leave a $100 check or a credit card number. All checks and credit card numbers will be returned when the camera is returned undamaged, If the camera is not returned by the due date, a fee of $100 will be charged to your account.


5. Photographs are to be of rural Alabama in celebration of "The Year of Alabama Art."

6. All entries will be reviewed by a qualified judge. Notice of accepted photographs will be sent to the individuals.

7. A catalogue of winning photographs will be published by Mobile Museum of Art. Unlimited usage will be given to Museum of Art. All other rights will remain with the photographer.
