Overlooking the lake at Langan Park, the Mobile Museum of Art offers an upscale, dramatic setting to any event, whether it is a wedding, corporate function, or family affair. There are a variety of different settings available within the museum that can be tailored to fit any occasion:

 

Grand Lakefront Lobby

The spectacular Grand Lakefront Lobby, with marble staircase, balcony and spacious glass walls, overlooks the lake in Langan Park. Your event will be truly special, surrounded by centuries of fine art. Your guests can also have the opportunity to enjoy the elegance of the Museum's art galleries. The Grand Lakefront Lobby is the perfect setting for meetings, lectures, receptions, parties, weddings, and other special occasions.

The Grand Lakefront Lobby is available for rental daily, and includes use of the lobby, staircase, balcony, tables, chairs, restrooms and complete catering kitchen.

Security Fees
Security Fees apply to those events that take place when the Museum is closed to the public and/or if additional security is required. Fees assessed at a rate of $25 per hour per Guard. Amount of space used and crowd size determines number of Guards required.

Maintenance Fees
Maintenance staff will be available to set up, clean up and break down all Museum equipment. Additional fees are charged in the case of events larger than 500 guests or with complex or special set-up requirements. Fees assessed at $100 per event.

Larkins Auditorium

Seating Capacity:  140
Standing Reception:  200

The auditorium, located on the ground level of the museum with easy access from the loading dock, is equipped to host meetings, slide presentations, lectures, recitals, performances and films. This uniquely private area of the museum has its own small kitchen.

The Auditorium is available for rental 8:00 am – 11:00 pm, daily. Use of museum tables and chairs is included in rental fee.

Ideal conference room for small board or planning meetings. Large oval table with 22 plush swivel chairs along with 10 side chairs can accommodate any small gathering. A small kitchenette is available in the room. Special arrangements upon request.

Altmayer Gazebo

Seating Capacity:  50

The Gazebo, nestled on the bank of beautiful Langan Park lake, is located on the west side of the museum, and is the ideal setting for an outdoor gathering or event. Your guests can enjoy an evening stroll along the museum’s outdoor sculpture trail, while listening to the sound’s of various indigenous water fowl species.

The Gazebo is available for rental 8:00 am – 9:00 pm, daily.
