Jewelry from the Bantens Collection Available at Collage
Dr. Robert Bantens, beloved Mobile Museum of Art lecturer, retired professor and volunteer, recently introduced an eclectic line of art jewelry that incorporates ”found objects” such as cameos and vintage buttons. Described by Bantens as “small-scale sculptures that can be worn,” these three-dimensional collages embody themes ranging from Art Deco to industrial.
The Bantens Collection is available exclusively in Mobile at Collage, the Museum store. The artist is graciously donating all proceeds from the sale of his jewelry to the Museum. Collage offers a wide array of art-inspired jewelry, educational toys, books and household treasures that are sure to be ideal gifts for everyone.
