ART Adventures
ART Adventures is an interactive learning experience for the whole family that will inspire children to learn about, appreciate and understand art.
ART Adventures features hands-on exhibits suitable for children ages 4 and up, a pre-school reading area that’s great for tots, and a multi-media object theater designed for all audiences.
Parents and teachers are encouraged to join in the learning process.
ART Adventures has two components:
Maisel ART Theater
See artists at work as we take you behind-the-scenes in this video presentation. Objects come alive as participants hear what artists say about inspiration and their creative process. Visit ART Theater and learn more about the art around you and how it is shaped by our environment.
Interactive Gallery
Build a sculpture, create a collage, dress in costume, and act out a work of art! Children will use their imagination as they explore and experiment in this interactive, hands-on gallery. With over 15 hands-on exhibits and a creation station activity table, Art Lab is an experience for the whole family to enjoy.
