Alabama/Texas Art Exchange postponed until January 2018

Mobile Museum of Art’s Alabama/Texas Art Exchange in collaboration with Houston Baptist University—originally slated to open in October 2017—has been postponed until January 2018, due to the destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey.
Our hearts are with our colleagues in Houston as the city’s long road to recovery begins. In our effort to show support for our colleagues at HBU and in the areas devastated by Hurricane Harvey, the exhibition presented in January 2018 at the Mobile Museum of Art will be dedicated to hurricane relief efforts, and expanded to feature more artists impacted by this disaster.
