An Important Update Regarding Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) – MMofA Closed until April 7

Posted on: March 15th, 2020

To help protect the health and safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers, the Mobile Museum of Art is closed to the public until Tuesday, April 7th.

Through continual communication with the public health organizations, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), it has been determined that this temporary closure of our facility will help support community health and well-being.

During this time, all previously scheduled events and programs hosted by MMofA staff, including our Free Thursdays and all Programs in March, will be postponed until after April 7.  All previously purchased tickets to the museum and our events will be honored upon re-opening.

MMofA staff will be reporting to the Museum tomorrow, Monday, March 16, to reassess all previously scheduled classes and programs. As of right now, any families registered for Spring Break Art Camp will be refunded.

In the meantime, visit our website, mobilemuseumofart.com, and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to stay up to date on important information. Thank for your understanding and for your support.
