Bay Area Art Educators Annual Exhibition: Art:work 2015
OPEN CALL FOR ENTRIES: February 1- April 31, 2015
MMofA, in partnership with Bay Area Art Educators, is please to present Art:work, an exhibition of art by local art educators. This opportunity is open for any artist actively teaching in Mobile or Baldwin County. Artists may submit up to 3 works of visual art, new media, photography, works on paper and small sculpture completed in the last 2 years detailed in JPEG or video format.
Curatorial Aim: Artists who teach have a special understanding of the creative process. This exhibition explores the variety of way art works and the work of making.
MMofA and BAAE are looking for work that explores issues of creative process, labor, and new techniques in any medium. Any work that deals directly with the artistic process of learning or transforming content into form is welcome.
