Clay Figure Sculpture Workshop with Kim Bernadas

Posted on: November 3rd, 2023

Saturday & Sunday, March 23 & 24
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Members : $325 / Non-members: $375

This workshop offers students of all levels an opportunity to study the dynamic human form in gesture and expression from a live model using a classical approach. The class will consist of discussion on proportion and gesture, anatomical symmetry/differences between male and female, as well as exploring the development of composition within the pose.

Initially a few short poses will be sculpted to stimulate an understanding of the importance of gesture and form, and finally a longer definitive pose will offer an opportunity to develop the sculpture to a more refined completion. Each student should have a completed sculpture which will be ready for firing at the end of this workshop. Supplies Included.
