This class introduces adult students to introductory watercolor techniques ranging from grisaille painting and glazing, to working with resists. Students will be introduced to watercolors first through exploring Color Theory through a variety of exercises and followed by opportunities to explore grisaille painting through still life, glazing through portraiture, and resists through landscape painting.
- This workshop is for adult students only. You must be 18+ to register
- Due to equipment availability, this workshop is limited to 10 students and will be subject to cancellation if minimum attendance requirements are not met.
- This workshop is an introductory four-week course.
This 4-week workshop is focused on experimenting with paint in a judgement-free environment. The instructor will take students through the creative process from concept to finished piece.
Students will work from life and bring their own or use preselected photographs.
