Artist Dr. James Conlon, who is included in MMofA’s new exhibition, 5 Mobile Artists, stops by to talk about the similarities and distinct differences in the two broad categories of technique and “mind-set” of sculpture, namely additive and subtractive works. Discussion on the additive process will begin in Larkins Auditorium, where Conlon will show examples of his work through the years, then progress to the subtractive methods he uses in the work included in the 5 Mobile Artists exhibition.
