For the past two years, Richard McCabe has photographed exclusively with a 1960s era Polaroid Land camera with Fuji instant film. Although diminutive in scale, his work has big things to say about place, southern identity and nostalgia. As Curator of Photography at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, McCabe’s life’s work is rethinking the physical and metaphorical lens through which we see the places we inhabit. Join us for an Art Talk that looks at small work with big ideas. The Art Talk series is part of Free Thursday Night programs at MMofA.
