Join us for a family friendly activity that will result in your own art on display as part of the upcoming exhibition Crazy for the Red, White, and Blue. Participants will use botanicals from the Mobile Botanical Garden to create impressions and decorations in clay slabs. The slabs will then be transformed into functional ware such as trays, vases, and wall hangings. The finishing touch will be to add red or blue underglaze to accent the texture of each piece. The resulting works will be shown June 26 – July 22, 2018 at the Mobile Museum of Art, and then returned to their makers.
