Frequently Asked Questions:
What is it?
For Children is a kid-focused, interactive exhibition exploring the elements of art: form, shape, line, color, value, space and texture. Where many of MMofA’s opening receptions are cocktail parties for adults, For Children’s opening reception (December 8) is a family day full of art activities, food, and fun.
How much are tickets?
Tickets for opening day, December 8, 10 am – 1 pm, are $10 (PER PERSON) for members, $25 (PER PERSON) for non-members. Children under 3 are free. Ticket prices are $35 per person for all members and non-members after MMofA’s Holiday Night Market on November 29.
What sorts of activities will be happening on opening day?
Art activities like mask making, face painting, and other crafts. There will also be inflatable games, Bob H. Miller’s exhibition Reflectorama in the Art Theater, and don’t forget, the For Children exhibition is fully interactive.
Can I drop my kids off?
Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Is there anything fun for adults to do?
The For Children exhibition is built for kids, but can be enjoyed by all ages. Our other exhibitions will also be open during the event.
Is food included in the ticket price?
Yes. All food and activities are free with your ticket.
What are we raising funds for?
All funds will go to MMofA’s educational programs and events.
