Mobile Museum of Art is excited to present Japanese Immersion Weekend in early November! This four-day event is aimed at exploring aspects of Japanese culture through engagement in various traditional activities and screenings of critically-acclaimed films.

Critically-acclaimed director Akira Kurosawa brings together eight mythic vignettes inspired by his own dreams and Japanese folklore to create this groundbreaking work, Dreams. The film deals with themes of childhood, spirituality, art, and death through Kurosawa’s patently colorful and whimsical lens.
