Thursday, January 10 @ 1:30 & 6 p.m.
Join us at Mobile Museum of Art for the first installment in this year’s Mobile Jewish Film Festival from Mobile Area Jewish Federation. On Thursday, January 10, join us for two screenings of Claus Räfle’s The Invisibles.
Since the early ’90s, Claus Räfle’s body of work, distinctive through its modern journalistic approach and visual sophistication, has been noted by jurors and TV critics for its signature humor and laconic narrative style. Many of his almost 40 feature-length TV documentaries, on which he has also served as writer, are distinct through their unconventional perspective, thoroughly entertaining in the best sense of the word, and have found their way across borders. Räfle developed and wrote The Invisibles with Alejandra López.
The screening is free, but please reserve a seat by contacting Kathy Lovitt at 251-490-4872 or kathymajf@gmail.com.
