As indicated by the southern colloquialism for spirit, The Pine Hill Haints perform “Alabama Ghost Music” pulling from genres such as traditional gospel, rockabilly, rock and roll, folk music, and the blues. Imbued with gothic storytelling, the band’s fascination with the occult and all things antique comes through in both subject matter and instrumentation to create a sound that is both historically reverent and punkishly irreverent at the same time. Join us for a romp through the swamp with a band that only Alabama can inspire.
Hear regional and local artists perform live in an intimate setting every 3rd Thursday for Live at the Museum, an original music and performance series celebrating the rare talents that heat and humidity can inspire. Admission is $10 a person and the performance is in Larkins Auditorium.
