Professional Development Workshop for Teachers
Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 9am until 3pm
“The Art of Asia” will explore several different types of art practiced by Asian artists, such as sumi-e, origami and suminagashi. Fun and educational for both the experienced and fledgling artist, the different sessions will be of interest to art teachers, as well as educators in all curricula. Sponsored by SARIC, the workshop will be free and participants will earn 6 professional development hours.
