Grab your Rainbow looms, favorite twist bands and join your friends in our Grand Lakefront Lobby on Saturday afternoon from 1 pm to 3 pm for a Rainbow Loom Fun Shop. All fun, part learning, this event, for ages 5 and up includes a special presentation by museum educators, a bracelet swap, a “Loom-off” contest and light refreshments.
Museum Educator Susan Baker shows how rainbow looms are part of the international craft culture dating back thousands of years, and discusses how pattern, colors, and design can be combined and used to create the most exciting rainbow bracelets imaginable.
