In the second installment, of MMofA’s Reverberations series, Dr. Luis Rivera, Director of Percussion Studies at the University of South Alabama brings students as well as faculty to perform a selection of ‘reverberative’ works by other composers as they relate to Janet Cardiff’s Forty-Part Motet. A score of USA’s best and brightest will perform utilizing the echo of our atrium, to explore sound.
The event will begin at 6:30 in the west gallery sound installation Forty Part Motet, and then participants will be invited back down into the Lobby to compare seminal works by contemporary composers that explore the relationship between music and physical space.
$5 (for entry into Forty-Part Motet) | BEER & WINE BY DONATION
