Presenter: Michele Marshall, Curriculum Leader, Baldwin County Board of Education, Daphne Middle School
Third through Twelfth Grade, all curricula

Join us for this FREE inservice to explore why the arts are vital to our education system and to take a closer look at the future of the arts in our area. Please bring your own ideas as we come together to promote a STEAM curricula for our children!

Agenda:

9-9:20am: Sign-in, refreshments, welcome, announcements

9:30am-12pm: Morning session begins in the classroom with group brainstorming about ideas for STEAM inclusion.  Discussions will continue with gallery tours for ideas.

12-1:15pm: LUNCH on your own.  We can make suggestions for restaurants close to the Museum.

1:15-2:45pm: Afternoon session includes individual and team-driven hands-on STEAM projects which can be adapted to elementary through high school curricula.

2:45-3pm: Raffle and evaluations; certificates will be emailed
