About do it
This workshop is based on the interactive exhibition, do it, which involves dozens of Mobile artists who create interactive artistic experiences in the galleries for visitors. These experiences require creativity and critical thinking skills on the part of the audience and will present an ideal field trip opportunity for K-12 classes.
9 – 9:15 AM: Sign in, coffee & treats
9:15 – 10 AM: do it Exhibition Tour
10 – 10:30 AM: Discussion of exhibition: “Interpretation: Key to this Exhibition” with Elizabet Elliott, Curator of do it
10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Presentations by three of the artists in their venues: Rachel Wright, Wanda Sullivan, Lucy Gafford
12:30 – 1:30 PM: Lunch on your own
1:30 – 3 PM: Hands-on workshop with Elizabet Elliott utilizing process driven art assignments as a teaching tool across all disciplines.
