The Art and Design of Mardi Gras is going out with a bang! After six eventful months, our 50th anniversary exhibition is coming down May 3. But not without all the pomp and pageantry befitting the commemoration of our city’s crown jewel festival. Come take Talk & Tours by the artists and artisans, meet Mardi Gras royalty, get your photo wearing the MMofA Moon Pie Train, see the ‘Best of Mardi Gras 2015’ documentary by Steve Joynt, dance in the streets, eat from a truck, generally revel and romp with us. And if you haven’t seen the exhibition, this is truly your last chance. The Art and Design of Mardi Gras comes down Monday so be here for the literal last throw!
