The objective of this course is to introduce the student to the most important concepts of two-dimensional design utilized in drawing, painting, photography, and other art forms. Each session will feature a short lecture with hands-on activities and examples in the galleries. Students have the option of taking only some classes, or attending them all. Supplies are included.

Week 4- Value as an Element of Art
Week 5- Texture as an Element of Art
Week 6- Color as an Element of Art, Part 1
Week 7- Color as an Element of Art, Part 2 and Wrap Up
