Meet Lady Macbeth, Lord Beaverbrook and more colorful characters at Mobile Museum of Art

MOBILE, Alabama  —   Art collector Lord Beaverbrook, aka William Maxwell Aitken, was impish, influential and filthy rich.

But Beaverbrook, who lived from 1879 to 1964, was no cultivated art connoisseur. And he didn’t care.
