The Mobile Museum of Art is hiring a full-time Media Marketing Specialist. Applicants should have experience with various forms of digital marketing. This includes but is not limited to social media marketing, website design and maintenance, and email marketing. Working with the Public Relations Officer, this position is responsible for writing, formatting, editing and reviewing, and disseminating information to the community, developing marketing and communication strategies to promote the department via the agency’s website and social media platforms, and disseminating agency news and updates via internet and intranet sites. The Media Marketing Specialist executes routine daily, weekly, and periodic major and minor updates of online text, photographs, and forms, including videos, agendas, minutes, links, and other website information. Some art-related experience or education is preferred. Ability to perform other work-related tasks as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Attainment of a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in marketing, public relations, communications, or a closely related field, and a minimum of one year experience in marketing and promotion through web-based applications and social media communication; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
