Abstractions in Mixed Media With Dana Finimore

Friday & Saturday, March 24 & 25
9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$275 members / $350 non-members

Abstraction uses a visual language of imagery, shape, color and line.  Extraordinary compositions are achieved that exist independent from visual references. This type of art can be liberating since it is free of the logic of perspective and realism, and seeks only to satisfy the whims of the artist. Using intuitive thinking the artist is free to concentrate on his or her process. This departure from accurate representation can be slight, partial, or completely abstracted. Using a combination of paint, acrylic medium, graphite, collage and stencil, you will explore a plethora of expressive techniques to build meaningful art.
