Bring art to your home with MMofA’s Art Kits! Designed by MMofA’s Education Department, these kits draw inspiration from our collection and include supplies for you to create your own work.
Vera Collage Art Kit
Create a colorful collage based on Vera, the work of Miriam Shapiro, from the MMofA permanent collection. Your kit includes a reproduction of the artwork, a mat board, and wallpaper samples to cut up for use in the collage. All you need is scissors, glue, and your imagination! Ages 8-12
$5 per kit for MMofA Members | $7 per kit for non-members
Tang Horse Art Kit
Make your own clay horse based on the 1,000-year-old Tang horse in the MMofA collection. This kit includes background information and instructions on how to make the horse, a pack of Model Magic, three paint colors, and paintbrushes. Ages 4-7

Betty Sue Matthews Art Kit
Create a cut out, painted figure like Betty Sue Matthews’ in the MMofA collection. This kit includes background information and instructions on how to create your own cutout like Betty Sue Matthews, a sheet of aluminum, seven paint colors, and two paintbrushes. Ages 8-12

Pick-Up Instructions:
Art kits ordered before noon will be available for pick-up the following business day at the front desk during operating hours (Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm).
If you order an art kit before noon on Friday, they will be available for pick-up on Saturday. Any orders placed on Friday after noon will be available the following Tuesday.
