What’s on view at MMofA?
The Mobile Museum of Art (MMofA) includes a permanent collection of close to 6,400 works of fine and decorative arts from America, Asia, and Europe. This collection spans periods from classical antiquity to the present day. MMofA is also host to several special exhibitions throughout the year.
MMofA’s permanent collection consists of an outstanding assemblage of American, European, African and Asian art including paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings and decorative art. Highlights of the collection include: 19th century American landscapes, realist paintings from the WPA era, contemporary international studio glass, turned wood and ceramics.
