A collection of paintings by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf, KAWS, and Banksy goes on view at Mobile Museum of Art in GATEWAY: From Graffiti to Gallery, a first-of-its-kind exhibition for the region. This extraordinary show will be on view in Mobile for a full year. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with Masterworks.

Ahead of the opening, the people behind the show will host a panel reception at Innovation Portal. Panelists include Nigel Glenday and Abby Nakassa of Masterworks, Mobile Museum of Art Executive Director Jon Carfagno, and Cory Adair, Interim Director of Communications and Senior Advisor for the City of Mobile. The conversation will cover what it took to bring these artists to Mobile, behind-the-scenes stories and images from the install, and what world-class art can mean for the city and region. Doors open at 5:30 pm, and the program begins at 6 pm. The evening is free and open to the public.
